Mounting welder to aluminum bed

Gona be mounting my sa to my aluminum flatbed this weekend should I put something between the steel mounting feet and aluminum deck as well as something between the steel backing plates and bed just curious I had someone tell me I needed like kind of a insulator between the two dissimilar metals
Reply:I would at least lay some rubber down under the welder. I have my aluminum flatbed lined with treated plywood. Reply:Tractor trailer rubber mud flap( used and worn out from original use) just cut to size .....6"x 6" is about right......
Reply:I found a 4'x4'x1/4" rubber mat at tractor supply I'm Gona cut that to size and put that under the whole welder

Reply:if I were you I would make a spacer out of Delrin (Polyoxymethylene)  and keep the two metals separate

Reply:Well I have a Mack dump truck which is dead because of electrolysis between steel and aluminum and no zincs never been in salt water eitherI would rubber insulate  where you bolt down and add a couple small zincs and then check them once in awhiletrailblazer 302thunderbolt ac dc machine Hobart fluxcoreAHP tig 200x 2015
