WTB: (Really) Basic TIG torch.

I'm trying to get a small TIG setup started. I have a 80A DC welder, but still need a torch.  I'm trying to piece this together one at a time, and for now don't need anything fancy. Just something to get my feet wet and learn with. Something around 100A and air cooled would be fine.I don't have much money.  If anyone has an old torch lying around they'd be willing to sell, I'd be interested. Reply:DemonSpeeder's offer is excellent. TIG torches are rather delicate so let them cool before unscrewing the collet, cap, etc.

Reply:What size tungstens do you have? I might be able to dig up a 3/32" collet. collet body and #7 or 8 cup for a 17 series torch for you in my stuff. Smaller stuff I'm pretty limited on since I don't use them all that much. I'll have to see just what I have.The down side of a 3/32" tungsten is it's a bit large for a machine that will top out at 80 amps. 1/16" ones would probably be a better size fit for what your machine is capable of..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:At the moment DSW, I'm not sure. I tried looking today after school but couldn't find them myself. My dad claims to have had them, but now says he isn't sure.
