Looking to cut some square aluminum stock 1/8 wall possibly the odd piece Of 3/16I have a the above dewalt saw and love it. If I used this for aluminum too will it make a mess of thr saw? Should I just get a separate 10" basic on sale and use that basically I jus don't want to bugger up my dewaltThanksJeff
Reply:I purchased a 12 NON-Ferreous blade and it made beautiful cuts in 1/8 to 3/8 Aluminum for the project that I was working on. I did keep the saws bag installed and cleaned it frequently. When done I used compressed air to remove the aluminum residue. Saw still works great.Everlast PowerPro 256, Everlast W300 Cooler, Everlast Cart 250Millermatic 211, Spoolgun 100, Miller HD CartJackson W60 Truesight Digital Auto Darkening, Victor 315 Torch sitting on a Harper 830-86 cart
Reply:As mentioned it will cit AL just fine, I just used the blade that was on my saw, no special blade.Wear a face shield, long sleeves and ear protection. The saw will throw AL "saw dust" bits everywhere.Ed Conleyhttp://www.screamingbroccoli.com/MM252MM211 (Sold)Passport Plus & Spool gunLincoln SP135 Plus- (Gone to a good home)Klutch 120v Plasma cutterSO 2020 benderBeer in the fridge
