found this neat tool--http://www.swagoffroad.com/Plasma-Circle-Cutter-_p_45.html . yeah,it would be easy to build, but at this price, why bother. also,i think one of the dent repair stud welders (harbor freight's is $99 and you might be able to use a 20% coupon ) would give you a sturdy center point if you had a problem with the provided one.miller thunderbolt 250vlincoln square wave tig 175 prolincoln idealarc mig sp250everlast tig 210EXTeverlast power plasma 50chicago electric (hf) 130 tig/90 arcchicago electric 90 amp flux wire3 sets oxy/acet

Reply:Mark, I really like your circle cutter. Reply:the set screws grab the insulator, then the aluminum piece swivels inside the steel "lolly".The pivot point is a magnet, but it can be removed & use a 10-32 screw in a hole. I use a magnet, because many things need a circle without a hole in the center. On non-magnetic, you can use a magnet underneath.MarkI haven't always been a nurse........Craftsman 12"x36" LatheEnco G-30B MillHobart Handler 175Lincoln WeldandPower 225 AC/DC G-7 CV/CCAdd a Foot Pedal to a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 165A DC TIG PapaLion's Gate Build |
