This tank is special. It will be 100 years old in September. The certification dates are significant.  WWI, invasion of Poland, my mothers birth,  WWII ends, my grandfather passes, I become 5 years old and am told i can't go see the Stones on my birthday.  My son's birth. 9-11.I gave it new paint and have it back it's self respect.  Here's to another 100 years. Reply:Very Nice!  It kind of sucks for me having to look at a shiny new welder with a crappy exchange cylinder tied to it.  I know it's my choice.  You said another 100 years.  Do they last that long or is it wishful thinking? Be warned, even if patented, he will have different boots & a pipeliner. Reply:Very cool. The oldest cylinders I seen still in-service were from 1911! They were full size 330cf and didn't even have threads on the neck for a cap. They were secured in an oxygen bank for cutting purposes. So I guess there was a less chance of them tipping over being secured in the bank. But its amazing how old some of these cylinders are.Ya gotta spend money to make money!
