Hendey metal lathe

I scooped this lathe up at a auction, Ive never ran one before. Ive been watching youtube videos and have been cutting threads all day yesterday. I just got a piece of HS steel in the mail today so I can make my own tooling.

Reply:That's just a baby!Nice machine though...The Hendy I run is 20" X 90".....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:That's a nice little lathe... Do you know what year it is??  Some good vid's youtube... Keith Fenner  Turn wright machine... mrpete222, myfordboy...etc all make excellent and very instructive  videos... Also look up old South Bend vid's etc...
