I recently picked up a couple of new ( to me ) F450 service trucks along with the equipment part of which are two of these welders. They start and run fine and weld great. However they are old with a lot of hours. Any knowledgeable input would be welcome. Also a friend wants to purchase one to use as a sort of backup generator for power outages. They are rated for 10,000 watts but can they be used this way ? Thanks in advance.Dutchman
