mine has the B&S 16 hp engine on it. I suspect the mufflers are shot, because it is c-r-a-z-y loud! Would putting something like a scooter muffler on it hurt the engine performance?Weldanpower 225 G7Ironworkers Local #24
Reply:The key is to not go smaller in pipe size than the original and/or use a muffler designed for at least the same HP as the engine it's going on.
