Hi has any one any info about the power wave 405m welderin in terms of when it came out and ended production. I picked one up last week and wonder how long spare parts will be around.
Reply:It appears the later 355M and the 405M are pretty much the same machine. They share the same parts book. Since they are still making the 355M most parts should be available for some time. You can figure out how old your welder is by the serial number. U1yrmn12345,U1 is country and plant code then year and the month. Did you get a power feed 10 or a robot head with it. Need the code number to see which welder you have.You can take the code number and go to the lincoln web site and down load the owners manual. I think the older design used programing cards. That model the parts are starting to get hard to get.
