Finally, here it is. This is a little complicated, because I'm trying to avoid tying up bandwidth with multiple threads as much as possible. There are pictures of (5) regulators here, (3) are Victor and (2) are Smith. The Smiths are not for sale yet, because their replacements haven't arrived yet. However, I'm putting up all of their info, including price, and once their replacements arrive I will add a post that says they're for sale. All prices include shipping by USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation to the lower 48 states. If you want signature confirmation also, I will include it at no extra charge. You can mail me a check or use Paypal - I have to charge more for Paypal because they're pulling fees out. Your regulator(s) will ship within one business day of your funds posting to my business account. All of these regulators sell new for multiple hundreds of dollars apiece, and are rebuildable. They are all single-stage, professional grade. Here are the details, listed in picture order.1) Victor SR 461 D Propane / Propylene / Alternative Fuel Regulator. Not for acetylene because there's no internal limiter to prevent the user from adjusting fuel pressure past 15 psi, and no danger mark at 15 psi. This regulator has seen very little use and is almost new. There is slight discoloration on the T-handle and body, but it's hardly worth mentioning. Max adjustable pressure is 200 psi. These are very hard to find in the condition this one's in. $125 shipped if paying by check / $135 shipped if using Paypal.2 and 3) Regulator Set - Victor SR 450 D / Victor SR 460 A. The 450-series Victors are probably the mainstay of the professional welding industry in general. With stainless steel diaphragms, they are very durable. I don't have the history on these, as they were part of an equipment deal I made some time ago. I hooked them up this weekend and leak-tested them -- no leaks and the T-handles adjust working pressure as they should. The only flaw is the orange overspray on them, especially on the backs. I didn't do it! The gauge faces are clear though. I'm sure the paint will come off easily enough with some elbow grease and steel wool, but that's for the next owner to do. $175 shipped if paying by check / $185 shipped if using Paypal.4 and 5) Regulator Set - Smith HB1520B and HB1510A. This is Smith's answer to the Victor SR450 series, and these are also top-notch regulators. I can vouch for these as they've been feeding the torch on my welding truck for nearly the last year. You can't go wrong with these - they have the optional Hard Hat gauge guards, and while the guards are scratched a little, they're in good shape too. These regulators are in excellent shape, but some of last year's profit is going to standardize my regulators to the Victor SR450 series - I just like the design a little better. So these will be up for sale when my new ones arrive, and I will add a post to this thread when that happens. The price for this set will be $200 shipped if paying by check / $210 shipped if using Paypal. Again, I will add a note when these are officially for sale. Thanks for reading. Attached Images
Reply:I'm trying to show some will power from not buying these as you informed me they are probably over-kill for what I need.FYI....very good prices as I have been shopping around and pricing medium duty regs at those prices.
Reply:Overkill has no negative effects when it comes to regulators.

Reply:DSW, it must have worked. Just got a PM - someone who had to have the Smiths enough to put $100 down now for me to hold them, and another $100 in a week or two when my new regulators are here.Smith regs sold pending funds. The Victors are still available.
Reply:'Bone - How much down for the Lincoln?gawd, they were a beast.
Reply:Denrep, the Lincoln's price is $59,995, so half down = $40,000 with the other half due next week.
Reply:So with ½ down you'll carry the other 2/3?Cool
Reply:Yes, I see we speak the same language.
Reply:Received the Smith regs on Friday. Looked nearly new and about $150 less than new from cyber weld. Once again, gotta love the 3 day shipping. If I need anything else I'll be in touch with you Tbone. Thanks for all your help.If anyone needs a good Reliable set of Victor regs I'm sure Tbone's are the ones for you.Last edited by TasBiker; 02-06-2012 at 09:14 PM.
Reply:Thanks Todd - yes, the 3 Victor regulators are still available. I may take the set of two and an SST1600 torch I have and put together a torch set to sell locally.I can't believe nobody's jumped on the SR461 - that's THE ideal fuel regulator for oxy-propane/propylene/chemtane/etc work if you ever need pressures above 15 psi. Ah well. I have faith it will sell once the right person sees it here.
Reply:Moving right along, the set of Victor SR450/SR460 regulators is sold pending funds to jrsteensen. The only regulator remaining for sale in this thread is the Victor SR461. As a reminder, this is a fuel gas regulator for all fuels except acetylene.
Reply:The Victor SR461 is sold pending funds to Stroked550. All regulators in this thread are now sold. Thanks to all. |
