I just purchased this sa 250 and was told it was prob late 70's. It has a 4 cylinder continental red seal engine. The ?'s I had were does anybody have a oil filter number,either napa or fram. something to crossreference? and what weight oil shoild i run in this machine? thanks in advance..........Jason
Reply:All my machines are gassers and I run SAE-30 Valvoline oil in 'em, it never gets that cold around here in South-East Texas so it works good for me all year-round. Reply:another question on this machine. does anyone have a part number and tempature for a thermostat? Maybe a napa number? the thermostat I removed had V180 so i assume its 180 degrees Thanks in advance

Reply:Thanks gizzardgutz, Ive been welding in the bridge business for the past 12 years, kinda had a change of heart so im building a rig and prepping to take my pipe test. Ive kinda got my heart set on being a pipliner. By chance is that what you do, or do you know any of the 798 guys? |
