One of a kind Everlast 250exUpgrades:Wp17f torchReal work clamp/cableMechanical HF pointsCustom aluminum cover (you can have the ugly green one too)No colorful knobs I'd put it up against any inverter in it's class. I have addressed all of the issues that these communist machines have. 1600.HammerFile Big Hammer------------------------------Here, let me Google that for you...

Reply:Lamename... You aren't doing yourself any favors with this post. I'd call this just short of fraud. The pict certainly looks like an effort to deceive someone. Yes you clearly say it's an Everlast machine, but why sell it with the big Lincoln sticker plastered all over the side cover? Why not simply cover it up with a piece of paper or blur it out and be honest? This post plus the CC only XMT 304 you posted before and a few other sale adds is beginning to make me question your business ethics. I'm also beginning to wonder whether or not you really belong here or if your sale posts aren't simply boarder line SPAM. I've come close a couple times to PM the mods over your flooding the sale section with your stuff, but let you have the benefit of the doubt. We've had other guys here in the past market their used machines, but they've always been very helpful with passing out their knowledge helping others solve machine issues. I really haven't seen the kind of detailed assistance they have given from you.  I'll let the mods deal with what they think of this....No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:how exactly is he trying to decieve anybody, the first line in his post says 'Everlast 250ex' He tells you exactly what the product he's selling is, if someone puts a puts an International Harvester sticker on their dodge ram i'm not confused as to what make it is.ESAB MigMaster 275Miller Econotwin HFMiller Syncrowave 250

Reply:deleted.Lamename, I work as a general contractor. I'm self employed. I weld as needed for my business and as a hobby. I also help teach welding at the local tech school. Most of my work doesn't directly involve welding, but lots of fabrication, and assembly. If you'd like I'll start a different thread and post up some of my work in the OT section rather than clutter up your thread.Last edited by DSW; 04-07-2012 at 10:12 AM..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Thats cool that you help kids and I'm sure some adults learn a craft. I'm not worried about cluttering a sale thread. If someone wants to buy it they will. I just don't like messing with people. I am as straight as they come as far as having a happy informed buyer when they leave. If anyone has ever been disappointed with anything I have sold or my service PLEASE let me know.GreggHammerFile Big Hammer------------------------------Here, let me Google that for you...

Reply:Lame,I fully agree with DSW.I think you're "pushing the boundaries" with your sale of refurbished equipment.  It would appear that your intent is to create an outlet for the sale of equipment, rather than to participate in the forum.I gotta think that Lincoln would have REAL PROBLEMS with your posting their sticker on a Chinese welder, as well as your claim that it's an Everlincoln.  This demonstrates to me a lack of business ethics.  This is the same problem I've had with the importers since they first appeared on the forum.Your target audience for this POS is the same guy they're going after.  The one who knows little to nothing about welding/welding machines, but thinks they need to buy (cheaply) all the bells and whistles to learn to weld. All this post does for me is prove that "You can polish a turd, but when you pick it up or step in it, it still smells like a turd."Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.
Reply:I haven't posted any refurbished equipment. Just used. I'm not passing anything off as something it's not. If I'm posting too many used welders here I'll stop. I think some people like to have easy access to used welders and a welding forum seems like a good fit. I put a Lincoln sticker on a modified chink piece and some make a big deal. Get a life. Don't buy it. Other members are smart enough to read and make decisions on their own. No reason to act like the government. Peace.HammerFile Big Hammer------------------------------Here, let me Google that for you...
Reply:I dont think theres anything wrong with it, except the stickers. It actually looks like something lincoln might turn out, so congratulations if that was the plan... But still, I think it would be way too easy to sell to someone as a lincoln, if that person didnt know much about welding machines.Plus, Im sure that the legal department at Lincoln Electric wouldn't think it was funny.[Account Abandoned 8/8/16 Please Do Not Attempt Contact Or Expect A Reply]. Reply:KiLL it now!  Everlast has worked hard trying to make a name for themselves.  They don't need you to tarnishing their name by off branding their equipment. LOL!

Reply:Lame,Here's where I have problems with the post as far as ethics and "truth in advertising"...In your initial post in this thread, you commented that "I have addressed all of the issues that these communist machines have."That's BS and you know it.  You haven't even scratched the surface.  As evidence, I'd like to direct your attention to a post you made back on 1-26-12 (Aluminum Guard thread) where you stated in reference to this same welder, "it's all PCB's and crap I'm not real familar with."How the he11 can you "address all the issues" when we're talking about a machine that's "full of crap you're not familar with".What you've likely done (if Everlast pushed the issue) is effectively VOID any warranty a future purchaser may have had.The importers have always "stretched the truth" and it seems you've fallen into the same pattern.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc.
Reply:Looks like a sweet machine that you've done a lot of work on.  Why are you selling it?Personally, I wouldn't give up my 2007 Everlast Super200P TIG setup (that, like yours, has all the kinks worked out ) for even the same amount as I paid new 5 years ago.Anyhow, I hope you find a good home for your 250EX.PS - Apparently seeing a used Everlast machine on WeldingWeb is threatening to the resident "anti-Everlast" misinformation spreaders around here.  The spreaders of Everlast misinformation around here would apparently prefer to not see *any* used Everlast machine advertised, so as to allow them to continue spreading misinformation about the brand "not having good resale value."

Reply:Nice side panel. Louvers facing down would be even better. Too bad louvers have gone out of style.Sticker troll is funny and had its intended effect, but noobs are quite naive so removing it before actual sale would be more ethical.
Reply:In case some of you guys get confused. This is an Everlast 250ex. This is not a Lincoln. It does not have any Lincoln parts in it. I am not trying to claim it to be a lincoln. This is not a Lincoln welder. This is an Everlast welder. In case you are still confused, this is an Everlast welder with a Lincoln sticker on it.If you are still confused p.m. me and I will try to explain.P.S. This is an Everlast welder.Due to the extra time I have now put into the sale of this welder the price is now 1700. obo. Reply:Werrying is just a waste of my time. Werrying about other people renaming their welder is just a really big waste of time. BTW, I dont think Everlincoln is fraud if you made that up. If you painted it red and sold it to me as a Lincoln then maybee. I see you pulled the Lincoln sticker off. Probably a good idea because who knows what the werriors will say.  Why werry today about what might happen tommorow because you will have to werry again tommorow and if it never happens you werry for nothing.  Also Lame, thanks for the technical advice about the 4700pF caps on my pot.
