My dad purchased a hollowing system for one of the small lathes and it required extending the lathe bed. We had an extension sitting in the closet but it needed support for the end. The manufacturer sells a new stand with the extension support. Why buy a new one when ours just needed some modifications so up to the shop I went for a quick little project.I used 2" x 1/8" square tube to match the existing bracing and legs.
