I haven't called Miller yet. Can any of you tell me whether or not a Miller Legend 301G can run a HF of it? It has a 9pin remote on it. And if I'm not mistaken can run a MIG setup.ThanksMelt-n-Metal
Reply:You could put a HF box on it but it wouldn't do anything other than allow none contact arc starting for DC TIG. The 301G like the 302 is a DC only machine. BTW I think that if you look it's a 14pin remote which is the standard for the modern Miller. It is capable of CV for wire feed as well as DC scratch start TIG and standard stick. The manual or one close to it is here.http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o4411e_mil.pdf I'm not sure what changes where done to the 301G during it's production so I don't know if there's more than one manual.
