Got a line on a 4'x8' sheet of 1" plate and need to know if my 52 will do the job?HH 135 / Spoolgun -- TD Cutmaster 52 -- M Thunderbolt 225V -- Victor O/A -- Drill Press -- Wellsaw 58b Bandsaw -- 6" belt grinder.
Reply:1/2" is as thick as I ever went and it was pretty slow but the cut was nice. 7/8 is what they claim though? 11/8" is the claim.Last edited by mikecwik; 03-18-2013 at 03:50 PM.
Reply:It will cut it, set it at 60amps, use a new tip and the stand off or drag nozzle, set you air at 80psi, go slow and watch to make sure the sparks are going out the bottom of the cut.www.georgesplasmacuttershop.comPlasma Cutter and Welder Sales and Repairs--Ebay storeTec.Mo.
