Reply:At that 'closeout' price, it puts the 211i at about the same price as the Lincoln 210MP.Not counting the free autodark helmet.The Lincoln only takes up to 8 inch spools, while the Tweco can take 12 inch spools.The Lincoln is a little smaller and lighter, the Tweco is a little bigger and heavier.At the 'original' list price, the Lincoln beats it on price by a lot.At the 'markdown' price, it's darn close. Reply:I've had the 181i for about a year now and it has performed flawlessly. I have the spool gun and the TIG torch also although I haven't used them very much. Did a little stick welding with it out in the field the other day using a 6k watt generator and it was fine. The 181i is very portable and has a built-in carry handle.GraysOrnamentalIron.com

Reply:As far as servicability goes, major repair centers that work on Thermal Arc stuff work on these. I had a PS fuse blow on mine shortly after buying. Arcet took care of it for me, np.It would be of benefit to anybody who owns one to download a copy of the service manual for when the warranty runs out. If you have a basic understanding of electronic circuits, you can troubleshoot down to the board level and replace what is needed.
