Well I went out to the shop to discover that my son had done a little unscheduled maintenance on my welder. He took the cover off and was about half way through disconnecting the shunt wires and other stuff from the selector switch. I looked at the manual and there is a wiring diagram but it looks like greek to me. Anyone have any advise on how to make sure I got it wired up right?David Hoffman
Reply:I cant help w/youre problem but thanks for the laugh, i used to do stuff like that to my dad all the time, poor guy!thanks
Reply:Carry a digital camera to someone else's machine. Take loads of pictures and study. Make up any lie that sounds plausable and ask to do the same on a new machine at a welding supply shop. Weld the child to a post.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:Opps, didnt realize the post was that old.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.

Reply:How old was your son when he decided to do this bit of repair/service work? My dad had a place in his out-building that he dedicated to my distructive use of tools. Brings back some pretty funny memories.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'. |
