Reply:Just keep in mind it will tip over easy with that much weight on top.                                 MikeOl' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
Reply:The wheels are too close together and top heavy as '' mla2ofus '' stated. I wouldn't put any of my machines on it. You could use the material and rework to be safe.

Reply:Stack some cinder blocks on it to simulate the weight of your welder. You will most likely find it the most unstable when turning with a heavy weight on it. You can find some larger wheels for it at Harbor Freight, but you may have to extend the axles to make them work/fit.

Reply:You are a welder, or a wanna-be welder. Cut it apart and use the materials to build a better cart. Welding carts and tables are great first projects to learn and get better at welding. I usually laugh when a guy wants to buy a welding cart instead of building one. Design it, build it, cut it apart, and rebuild it better. Good practice time. There are lots of welding cart ideas on the forum.Welcome to the forum and welding!Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
Reply:They are fairly stable as long as the load is not higher than the sides. I didn't re-read your original post to see what kind of welder you are putting in it to haul around your yard. I've hauled welders and tools in a wheelbarrow. Use it if you want or at least try.
