Reply:I use one of these for fabrication projects.  It helped me be consistent when trying to produce parts to match drawings with semi random angles.Bosch DAF220K Miter finder Digital Angle Finder with Leg Extension and Casehttp://www.amazon.com/Bosch-DAF220K-.../dp/B001MUHXQ6In hindsight, I probably could have used the third tool pictured above on a combination square.  I'm happy to own this one though and have found it handy.

Reply:If I had to buy a combo square new and on a budget, I'd be temped to get this one.  PEC seems to make nice tools. Reply:The second one is my most used one around the shop. I normally don't read the numbers, just take the angle, lock it down and transfer the angle to the cutting machine or material or whatever of choice with the tool.
