Reply:I could not use them the base plates are off set to keep them out of the sidewalk and the railing is set up to be taken down for the winter.

I have: '1.5 - first hand' experience with a Metro FD: Captain/Inspector/Investigator.  Fortunately, his focus was on another metal contractor. They [FD] have the power to lock [all] the doors of the building until 'the violation' is corrected.  This is really expensive . . .When discovered - someone is going to be 'cited' - get ahead of the inevitable - so it is not upon you . . .Opus
Reply:The brick pattern is cut and welded square stock. All the permits are usually done 6 to 12 months before the project is installed.
