I bought a hybriweld electric idle upgrade kit. They didn't include any instructions other than a wiring diagram. This is my first time installing one of these kits. When it comes to the linkage between the solenoid and carb, is the linkage left loose to enable the governor to do it's thing OR are the two small bolts tightened at the right adjustment ? ? Thanks for the help.
Reply:I installed mine my self from hybriweld. Easiest thing is to mount the reed switch on the positive side of terminal. Next you need the oil pressure switch with a brass tee. When setting the adjustment for your idle they need to be loose and push your plunger all the way into the solenoid then tighten the 2 screws.69 sa 200
