Sounds too good to be true how do you spot a fake

Reply:yeah I suspected a fake but Still kinda have my hopes up. My main concern is Ill get to the unit and the actual unit will be a fake. lets hope I can demo it also I saw where this machine will take a form of a pulse pendant of some kind. I am thinking that perhaps a fake machine will not have the ports leads whatever to make this work would that be correct. Reply:I don't think a machine would be fake, or counterfeit.That'd be too tough to pull off for the potential return.If the seller has a local rendezvous point, it's either poorly listed but legit, or very bad.Be careful
Reply:They pulled a similar scam around here....Selling laptops they showed a buyer the real deal to examine then gave them a Brand New unit in the original package sealed...Only when they got home and opened the box they found a large piece of 2x12 with a picture of the laptop glued to the board.... sellers were in the wind
Reply:Always on a lincoln welder, ask for the serial number and the code number. From the serial number we can figure out when is was made. The code number will tell us if it is a 230 or 460 volt machine. I might be cheap because it is the 460 volt version and very hard to sell.Definitely weld with  it and take that machine or run.If you get the serial number you can run it past the police to see if it is stolen.
Reply:Sellers can send pics of the actual welding machine and data plate or they can FOAD as far as I'm concerned.Meet can be in a public place like a truckstop with lots of traffic and cameras. :-)
