Greetings from International Falls, my high school welding classes are starting a smoker/trailer build for a local BBQ'er. It will be a 4' x 8' trailer with a 24x48 firebox and a 24x48 smoke box. It is called a reverse flow smoker. We got the planning out of the way and started on the smoker and trailer builds before Christmas break. It is looking good so far, square and straight! Here are a few pics of the build so far. Attached Images

Reply:School doesn't start until Monday or Tuesday in most places.
Reply:ifalls,Nice build. Also seriously impressive that it's being done in a high school shop class. You must have a way above average high school shop teacher. Must be using a fairly good MIG machine also because that welding looks like it was done in spray mode (maybe even pulsed spray) to me.Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
Reply:So am I the only one surprised to discover that no barrels or huge pipes were harmed in the making of this cooker? All the ones I see down here, especially the trailer- mount ones- are round.
Reply:Beautiful work.Hmm, maybe a road trip for some BBQ?
Reply:Looks great so far!
