Anyone know of a metal 7 way spade trailer plug? All I can find around here are the cheap plastic ones and they split after less than a year usually along the key or the 1/8" set screw, I'm tired of replacing the cheap POS...............Mike
Reply:Never seen one but you could convert the type used on 18 wheelers with the round pins.Ol' Stonebreaker "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw

Reply:You do not want a metal one,, and, you do not want a plastic one,,YOU want a RUBBER one,, I have a rubber one, it has been through most every situation you can imagine,,It just keeps on surviving,, I doubt that you could destroy it with a 2 pound hammer,, unless, you worked at it for a while,,The rubber looks like the same stuff the cord is made out of,, the plug came pre-installed on my dump trailer, I bought it in 1999, and it is still perfect,,
