Welding casting

hi there i have this surface grinder whose T slot table chipped and broke in half pretty much the table is removable althought heavy waht set up would you recommend? what welder? at which  settings?   how much heat etc my intention is to keep the broken peice and weld that back to the table ORjust fill it all up ? ? thanks a lot
