We keep a MigPak 140 for light outdoor fluxcore jobs. It was popping the 120v breaker so one of the guys thought he'd plug it into a 240 outlet because he saw a 240 to 120 adapter and assumed it stepped it down. Anyway, the adapter was for a little 120/240v plasma cutter that actually delivers 240v to a 120v female. Sooo, the 120v-only MIG died. Opened it up, nothing obvious burnt, couldn't find a fuse blown anywhere. So, is it a good candidate for a new board or is there likely something simple and fixable we didn't see at first glance? Or not worth working on and buy a new one?
