I have a weldanpower 225 id 8705 ser # a1004857 that has all the main diodes bad. I have new diodes to replace the bad ones but can't figure out where the positive two go and where the negative two ones go. The ones on the aluminum plates are all reading open so can't determine it that way. The original ones have no markings on them to determine polarity. Looking at the schematic I get confused as the aluminum plates are not shown on the line drawing. I have attached a photo of the diode plate with old diode on it I guess I'm in over my head any help is appreciated.

Reply:Google:"how to make a full wave rectifier"Then you can watch all kind of videos that will explain how to connect the 4 diodes,,,,,,Welcome to the forum!!
