I have here a 6 meter (just shy of 20 feet) Bernard Q400 400A MIG gun replica. Ordered for an acquaintance that has a Millermatic 355 but he has since backed out, so it's up for grabs since I don't own Miller MIGs.Uses Centerfire consumables.Includes a carbon-graphite liner which makes feeding through this anaconda length possible.Works ok on 2-roller (1 drive - 1 follower) but really it needs a 4-roller (2 drive/2 follower or even better all 4-driven) drive motor system like on the bigger Miller MIGs.I don't have my Miller MIG anymore so I borrowed my friends 211 transformer to make sure there are no issues with it.The only thing I had to do was use a file to flatten one side of the plastic housing for the Miller connector (bulky) since it was butt'ing up against a portion of the drive system of the machine (a flat edge that protrudes). The plastic connector has one flat on each side to account for this, but they weren't "flat" enough, and I simply filed away about 1mm of thickness and in she went.It only came with a 045 tip and since I don't have 045 solid wire on an 8" spool, I used 035 ER70S-6, and both Auto-Set and manual settings worked.Contact tip is recessed ~⅛" with the stock nozzle it came with (I believe they sell shorter nozzles to get it flush or protruding)I did not have to use abnormal drive roll pressure (set to about 2.5) but I did have to increase WFS a little on manual mode to get it to behave better since there is no feedback to tell the machine of the added length and of course the 045 tip that was 10-thou oversized didn't help, but it let me verify that everything is a-ok.The added length and maneuverability of a 20ft whip is freakin awesome since you don't have to keep moving the machine around like you do with a 10 or 12 or even 15 foot standard MIG whip.A real Q400 in 20ft is approx $900. This one is $550 shipped in the USA cash-check-MO. Paypal you pay fees. Sale is final, no returns, as-is, ask questions before buying, I'm not in a hurry to sell, do not buy if you have any doubts, buyer's remorse is not accepted here. $25 discount if I like your internet persona here on the forums.
