Several years ago my Dad's Miller welder stopped welding. The diesel engine ran great, but wouldn't strike an arc or power the electrical outlets. My dad pulled a module off the engine, thinking it was the voltage regulator, and then lost it. He bought a gas welder and gave me the 225D, minus the module. I set it in a corner of my shop and kinda forgot about it for a while. If you're looking at the weld controls, the motor mounts with two bolts on the left side to the engine block. There is a plug block with two wires to the dynamo section and a harness to the engine. If needed, I can try to post pics of where it should live.I just pulled it out to revisit the issue. I called Miller to hopefully identify the part and start getting a replacement. They said because it was mounted on the engine, I have to go through the engine manufacturer. It's powered by a Deutz engine, so I tried to contact a couple of dealers. They never called me back. Ive poured over page after page of Google searches, from image searches to various parts sites with no luck.I was told the original problem was probably the Pull To Weld module, but there's no point if the motor is dead. Thanks for looking!
Reply:If I'm not mistaken, the only engine mounted "module" on the  Deutz/Ruggerini is the battery charging voltage regulator and wouldn't  have anything to do with a no weld/auxiliary power output condition.   Neither would the idler module.Any chance you can post a photo of the engine harness plug for the missing part?If you don't have it already, you can download the user manual for the unit here:https://www.millerwelds.com/support/manuals-and-partsReview the troubleshooting section for possible causes of a no output condition.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110

Okay, that was easier than I thought! the first pic is the plate the module bolts to. The second one is the plug block. The final one is a further back shot of where the module should go. Hope this helps!

Reply:Yep, that's the typical Kohler/Deutz/Lombardini/Ruggerini battery charge voltage regulator similar to this:https://www.ebay.com/itm/29384327454...Bk9SR5jiju_zYAMM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110

I tried to flip the image. Apparently I can't upload more than four images. The engine would crank and idle fine, but would not rev up to weld or power AC devices. I was told by a Miller tech it was probably the Pull To Weld Module. I have a multi-meter but have no idea what to check.
