Hello all, I am new to the site, and I am looking for some help/guidance. I got a Lincoln wire-matic 255 a while back for my barn and have been super happy with the machine, however through some ill redneck engineering of my own, I believe I damaged the PCB. I was trying to hook up my spool gun (non-lincoln) unit to the machine, and inadvertanly back fed the trigger circuit for the MIG torch. Now the machine powers on, but when the trigger is closed, I get no feed from the drive rolls, no power from the transformer and not gas valve. I have called several places looking for a board or a place to repair the board, and have struck out. I am turning to you guys as a last ditch effort to revive this machine. I am going on Wednesday to pick up a Lincoln Power MIG 200 from a guy for the cost of my SKS rifle. I still have my little Lincoln 175HD but still kicking and cussing at myself about my error in hillbilly retrofitting. The board number is G2803-1 and the machine code is 10167. sorry for my first post being one asking for help!! |
