There's a Millermatic 350P for sell near me for $1900. The guy won't budge from the asking price. Is that a good deal at that price? Is the 350P a good machine?
Reply:the price is a little high for Canada you would prob know better for your area the problem with my 350P was the operator.    i didn't use it enough on a daily basis to be able to consistently dial in the right settings. i found the settings finicky every time i changed material thicknesses but that was probably just me. i only used it for aluminum and never tried it on steel.Last edited by Lis2323; 15 Hours Ago at 12:03 PM.:

Reply:There's two models of the 350P, one that is general purpose and one set up just for aluminum. I am not sure that matters for the pricing, but it matters for what you want to use it for. The 350P is an excellent machine. They have replaced it with the 355P in the last few months, so not sure how much longer the 350P will remain in production. I think $1900 is a great price for that machine if it is in good working order. P stands for pulse, which means it does pulsed spray MIG as well as short circuit and axial spray MIG, and of course various flavors of flux core and metal core wires. Top end is 400 amps and it has a 300 amp/60% duty cycle. They are beasts. Many folks would consider $1900 for a MM 252 to be a good bargain. I think getting its big brother for that price is really a good bargain.Miller Multimatic 255

Reply:To be honest, if I was in the market, and the machine works as advertised, I wouldn't even try to negotiate. I would jump on the $1900 before someone else does.Miller Multimatic 255
