2G mig welding

Hello all, I’ve been in welding school for a couple of semesters, passed all my stick tests and am now moving into mig. So far I have passed my T-joint and lap joint. Currently I am doing my 2G bend test and am having trouble with my cap. Twice now my coupons have cracked on the cap side, root is never an issue as I pretty much have that down or now. Instructors have suggested turning up the heat more than I had, but I did that on my second test and still cracked. Does any one here have any other suggestions for me? We get three tries for our bend tests and I’ve already failed twice, don’t want it to happen again lol.
