I have a 2017 Miller trailblazer 325 diesel. I am running an XR control with a python gun and 3/64 5356 aluminum wire. I cannot get the trailblazer to put out more than 22 volts. The TB voltage is turned up to 35, while welding, the most I can get measured at the lugs on the TB is 22 volts. The XR is hooked up to the remote outlet, and is a 24v remote input model. I need to be able to get around 30 volts and around 250 amps out of this setup.
Reply:Does your welder have RediArc?If so have you measured at high idle or wide open? Are you using the generator at the same time? What size/length cables are you using? My welder has TVT which overcomes voltage drop.Last edited by Freebirdwelds; 3 Weeks Ago at 03:45 PM.Reason: SpeelingLincoln 330MPXLincoln Power Mig 256Lincoln LN-25X Wire FeederMagnum PRO 250LX GT Spool GunLincoln AC/DC 225¼ Ton of Torches OFC-A OFG-AAir Carbon Arc Gouging CAC-AEverlast 62i Plasma CutterIngersoll Rand T-30 14hpInstagram: #Freebird Welds |
