i thought i would post this in case anyone was considering a new purchase. don't know if this is Miller in general or just applicable to Baker's Gas (which i doubt) no big deal to me.  makes it a little nicer for anyone SELLING used welders though.

Reply:Sadly it's all a part of new New "insert your flavor of caused Inflation here" World we live in.  The Rebel EMP 215ic I purchased in 2016 for $1450 is now listed at least $1000 more if not even higher.  It's crazy but I'm glad I bought it when I did.  Too bad it was not the AC/DC model

  Sadly those would not be available for a couple more years down the road.Lincoln, ESAB, Thermal Dynamics, Victor, Miller, Dewalt, Makita, Kalamzoo.  Hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting tools.

Reply:That is problem for Hobart, Lincoln and Miller. The amount of copper welder (which the biggest cost factor)  is same for Chinese welders and American made welders. I saw this with machine tool industry  in 1960's and 1970's now very few left oods are it a American name made in China.  Hobart, Lincoln and Miller are pushing the limits to make profits hight.Dave
