hey guys, i recently picked up a 2007 pipepro 304 from an auction for cheap knowing that it has some issues. the machine starts and runs ok at an idle, but if you turn the key to the run position it smokes black and labors down as if a huge load is being put against it. In addition to that, there is no amp or volt digital display numbers (the screens are black), the remote/panel toggle switch is completely seized, and the multiprocess dial is very difficult to turn. I suspect moisture has gotten to the control board which would explain the corrosion and seizing of the controls. So i have a couple of questions; how many boards are there on this machine and what are they called/part numbers ? Has anyone heard of or used Frankco Products LLC for electrical board repair ? Miller does not supply parts for this machine anymore but he says that he can repair the boards.I appreciate any help that anyone can give meLandon |
