Hello ladies and gentlemen this is my first time on the site. I'm here because a friend has given me an old Lincoln welder which has no output, nothing. The unit has a few numbers which I cannot identify. First the numbers on the welder are # 430209 and # 4058, the unit is coupled to a Wisconsin 2 cylinder hand crank motor. Doing an inspection I found a small buss connection had failed near what appears to be some cooling fins inside the welder cover close to the motor output side. Thinking this maybe the problem the unit was started with no improvement. Any support would be appreciated along with any info and schematics. Thank you Ray
Reply:A picture or two of the welder might help to identify what you have. Myself and a few others here have older hand crank Lincoln welders and in my case that is my go to unit for stick welding. |
