Whistling 6010

stated to learn stick welding and trying out the used welder I got for a fair price so I started with 6010. The 6010 is a Hobart E6010 but it's whistling like crazy, is that normal?

Reply:What machine.  Some DC mAchines have HF whistle.  My HTP whistles and I had a ZENA that didAlso.
