I have a Lincoln Precision TIG 375. K1903-1, Code10809-4, Ser# U1070607160. It welds fine in stick mode but just makes a tiny spark in tig mode. I have tested the foot amptrol for continuity at the proper pins and for potentiometer function at the proper pins. I feel that the amptrol is operating properly. The Lincoln owners manual, troubleshooting section it indicates that it is more likely PC board. Are there further tests that I could make?Is there a legit PC board repair service available? A new board is $1568.00. I don't have a problem installing a brand-new Lincoln board for that price but I hate to do that and then still have the problem. More than likely a new board would fix it but have reservations. Are there others here who have experienced the same issue that can comment or make suggestions? Thank you, Kirk Trekell, residing in the heat of NW Oklahoma.
