when working vertical up, i do well if i am in a position to see under the rod tip/arc and can keep an close eye on the puddle. often though, i can can only see from above, and the rod is in the way of seeing the puddle. those welds look inconsistent at best. im almost guessing on my movement and travel speed. how do i get around that, other then going vertical down? thanks
Reply:Makes a difference if a guy welds regular, I got in some spot the other day similar and took me a couple stabs at it to get the right fill. After a while it gets easier.www.urkafarms.com |
