I work in a Welding Lab at a University and was tasked with cleaning out some old sheds, when I did, I found this item. I called the number listed on the machine, it was disconnected, then I called MSC Industrial from a number I got from google. They also had no idea what this was as the model and serial number did not pull up anything in their directory. If anyone know what this is exactly, please enlighten me...

Reply:If it works it is worth some money. See if they want to throw it out, then take it off their hands and list it on craigslist or something.Miller Multimatic 255

Was filling saw blades by the age of 10, that was 1960.

Reply:It's for sure worth some $$$. Not anywhere near what an Ideal is worth though. A new Ideal liquid cooled blade welder runs $250K+. I used one when I worked for a place that sold bandsaw blades. It did up to 2" wide, there was a separate blade cutter and a separate grinder. It was bigger than the one in the video.  Last edited by Welder Dave; 5 Hours Ago at 10:32 PM.
