Max 150S

It was just a thought but what does a little used like new 15 yr old DVI Max 150S likely sell for?  I never sell machines but I wouldnt mind a sideways move with this one.  Even a few # not a deal breaker. Reply:I bought my Maxstar 150STL used off ebay for $400usd plus shipping. used it a bit, lent it to friends (because of the dual voltage capabilities )and sold it last year for $850cdn. I replaced the ground clamp,  repainted  the case and used new decals  to make it look presentable

Reply:I been trying to stick weld a little when I can and besides have a box of free 6011.  I though it was me, then I thought it might be machines, I recall someone else said they were having a problem with the Hobart 11.  Just stop, not really good wet and poor restart.  I found a couple old 6010 the other day, zippy difference they was.    I see that Esab says it will run them, if I gety a fussy field job might consider a sale buy new for that.  I would like the features, hot start sounds great. All my stuff is out of position, mostly vert abd overhead.www.urkafarms.com

Reply:The 150s is stick only. What new machine incomparable?  Perhaps you can luck up and find somebody with money to burn.  It would have to pretty cheap for me to buy it.  Actually, I could not justify it unless I was broke down and desperate.  Doesn’t cost any to post it and wait, though.
Reply:I was just curious, pricing and some sales are nuts, How long ago there wasnt a motorhome to be found, I hear there are a few for sale now.  I can find a lot of reason not to get in the car and use 20% the gas I used to.  Its the constant medical appointments drives up the price of fuel these day, its whats really got the economy propped up and of course got to the doc got to stop sat the store.   Store parking lots just packed. Certain types of pieces go in cycles, used tools, the tool truck stuff and even HF.    I havnt been anywhere to use a machine with modern start features but the less it sticks the better.  My little AC/DC actually starts better than the Max I think.Last edited by Sberry; 16 Hours Ago at 11:30 AM.www.urkafarms.com

Reply:I bought one for a 400 and sold it for s450.  Got a esab 150 with tig and dig thinking it would resale.  Then everything went to 160 amps and ran 6010 and lesser name imports became more popular. Then it dies.
