Have early rebel 215ic. Great machine for the smaller projects that come into our shop. Suddenly no gas flow for the bare wire mig. Regulator on bottle OK. Purchase new solenoid and install. No change. Must be something int the electronics. No information available through Esab. (Very frustrating experience) Had to search online for the 24V dc solenoid and found the exact unit without Esab's help. Everything else works as it should (flux core bare wire and stick) Just no shield gas flow. No 24V DC at solenoid. Am I missing something too simple? Thanks in advance for any help!
Reply:Update. Pulled off side panel to blow out dust. Small flashing red light over the connector for the solenoid wires. Probably will require an expensive circuit board replacement unless someone knows a repair trick.
