I have all star model 117-015 made by century. The wire just started staying hot without pulling the trigger. I've had the liner replaced. Any ideas?
Reply:wire hot with or with on feeding wire. if wire feeding check gun trigger.No wire feed. will need to check solid state relay. See if it is shorted. if not shorted check the drive contacts and see if there is voltage. no voltage relay bad. voltage pcb bad. You can try going to Lincolnelectric,com find the parts manual tab. it will open the service navigator. enter as a guest. put the 117-015 in the code number box. If it works you will get the owners manual and diagram and parts list.Look on the SSR for gate voltage. the other two will be in series with one side of the line.
