Sa250 shunt coil problem

I have an sa 250 code #8306 and was pressing out a shunt coil and busted the iron core piece that sits inside the coil. It’s broke bent and pretty chewed up on the side that fits into the housing. The housing is fixable I just need to replace the piece that the coil sits on. Asking for some advice before I try to rebuild it thanks in advance

Reply:Did you press that out or beat it out with a sledge hammer?I agree with Sberry on checking with Bill's Welder Repair or other well known repair/parts vendors for a used piece.  You're dealing with a core-to-armature clearance that the deformation may create a significant problem.A simple fixture and 20T press makes the job much easier and damage free.
