Are there better/best brands of MIG gun nozzles and or options for copper in addition to brass gas nozzles?Have a H 190 with H100 gun, want get few gas nozzles.Don’t know anything about different brands and want to get (hate to say best, can be subjective) but as high of quality as can. :-)Does Miller have a gun that uses same nozzles as Hobart H100, was thinking they do but don’t know if Miller uses slip on or thread on nozzles for their gun, don’t know what their version of H100 is called to look it up. Cheers, AllenUpdate:I think I found the answer to the question. These Miller brand M100 Miller 246372 Nozzle, M-100 .500 Orf Flush (Cu), 2 pack  will fit the Hobart H100 gun correct?Figure Miller nozzles are going to be hard to beat for quality, now that I found them. :-)Last edited by abosely; 3 Days Ago at 11:01 PM.
Reply:Me personally I would replace the entire gun with a better one. I am really partial to these flex neck guns from HTP America. https://usaweld.com/collections/hoba...rt_mig_weldersThe HTP guns do use different consumables than the original Hobart gun, but that never bothered me. I like the ergonomics of the HTP gun, the fact that the neck is just a bit longer, as well as the ability to flex the neck to almost any angle you want. To me that is one of the best upgrades you can do for that machine. If your worried about the longevity of the nozzle just treat it with some anti-spatter first. They make anti-spatter sprays, gels, etc. that are commonly available everywhere. Honestly though, I am not sure I have ever needed to replace a nozzle. Most of the time, I just tap it on the welding table and the ring of spatter build up just falls out. If not, I just ream out the nozzle with a pair of MIG pliers and then get back to work. The HH190 doesn't make enough heat to wear out the average nozzle.Miller Multimatic 255
Reply:That’s good to hear because I was planning on getting a HTP America 15’ gun. :-)Was debating about the flex neck, wasn’t sure if it would be handy or if it had some kind of issue using it.I’ll go ahead and get the flex neck version then.Mostly wanted to have at least one spare nozzle in case I screwed up this one of (knowing me) found away to loose it! LolI misunderstood that the HTP 15’ Hobart MIG gun used Hobart consumables. Not a problem that they use HTP consumables.I actually ordered two M100 copper nozzles from Amazon and just canceled the order, after learning about HTP flex neck gun using HTP consumables. Thanks for pointing this out.I’ll be ordering a HTP flex nozzle gun shortly and getting few extra consumables to have on hand, just in case. Cheers, Allen
