Aaaah, time again for the fantastical hilarity of another build thread by yours truly!Turning a used, but extremely durable, fire pit into a plasma cutting table, with duplicator attachment. This is the donor - don't tell the missus I've commandeered it (like a firepit in Arizona gets much use to begin with...)
It will retain it's original usability as the duplicator apparatus will be fully removable. I started by adding lots of metal ribs for steel to be cut to lay upon. I kind of need it first so some of the parts of this build need to be cut on it. Picked up scrap steel diamond plate cutoffs from the metal mart for free while getting other drops for the effort.
The apparatus will be held by a vertical trailer hitch receiver. I notched a couple places to weld in some nuts for the tension levers. Smoothed it all down afterwards.
