I was silly and ordered a CK9 torch with a superflex hose without checking the fitting sizes. When it came I went to hook it up and realized oops...As far as I can tell the power/gas outlet is a M16-1.5 fitting. Googling the net I saw a couple recommendation's for a 105Z57 a 3/8"-24 to 5/8"-18 adapter. But AFAIK a 5/8-18 thread is close but not the same as a M16-1.5. I have searched all over and cannot find anything that will adapt from imperial (of any size) to a M16-1.5 female coupling. Has anybody come across this problem? And how did you solve it?
Reply:I have made an emergency adapter using a M16-1.5 nut and a 3/8-24 flange nut. Center and weld them together. Purchased both from the local Home Dep0t. You can also search ebay for a brass adapter.
