Broken Screw Removal

For this project I removed a screw that broke off from a rotor of a washing machine for my friend John. 1. Broken screw

2. Wire brushing area

I welded an extension to the broken part of the screw that was still stuck in the rotor.3. Me TIG welding extension to broken screw

I removed the plating on the nut, by soaking the screw in Hydrochloric (Muriatic) acid.5. Soaking in HCL or Muriatic acid
