l tec 225 manual

I have a 1980s l tec 225 by union carbide- my dad got it for us when i was a junior in high school taking a boces course on welding , it has been a great machine. I now own my own repair shop and employ 5 people and still used this daily with out any trouble till now. the wire starts out real slow for 1/2 second till it comes up to speed. you can imagine welding like that. ! anyway this welder has a spot stitch modual. i think that is where the trouble may lie. but i lost my manual can any body help w/ a manual, am willing to pay . Reply:Sounds like a "slow run in" mode got activated idk if that welder has that functionality
