Is it necessary to use different tungsten grinding wheels for different tungstens?I have dedicated wire stainless brushes for steel and one now for aluminum
..
Reply:I've run pure, lanthanated, thoriated, E3, ceriated and probably something else over the same section of belt sander and never had a problem. I only use the belt sander for tungstens and nothing else (it's a cheapie). I do make sure to run each tungsten over a different section of the belt for a few seconds to get off anything big, then switch to the dedicated section. It may not help, but it doesn't hurt.Check out my bench vise website: http://mivise.comMiller Syncrowave 250DXMillermatic 350P with XR AlumaProMiller Regency 200 with 22A feeder and Spoolmatic 3Hobart Champion EliteEverlast PowerTig 210EXT
